Bei einem Rundgang durch die Ausstellung spricht die Künstlerin über die Entwicklung der Arbeit und die Zusammenarbeit mit den Menschen, deren Erfahrungen in das Projekt eingeflossen sind.

Alicja Rogalska ist eine polnisch-britische interdisziplinäre Künstlerin, die zwischen Berlin und London lebt. Ihre forschungsbasierte Praxis beschäftigt sich mit gesellschaftlichen Strukturen und den politischen Bedeutungen des Alltags. In spezifischen Kontexten entwickelt sie Situationen, Performances, Videos und Installationen in Zusammenarbeit mit anderen und untersucht dabei kollektiv emanzipatorische Zukunftsentwürfe. Ihre Arbeiten wurden zuletzt unter anderem in der Zachęta National Gallery of Art, auf der Matter of Art Biennale, bei Videobrasil, der Jogja Biennale und bei Urbane Künste Ruhr gezeigt. Als ehemalige Stipendiatin des Berliner Künstler*programm des DAAD ist sie derzeit PhD-Forschende im Fachbereich Kunst an der Goldsmiths, University of London.

During a guided tour through the exhibition, artist Alicja Rogalska will speak about the development of the work and the collaboration with the people whose experiences have informed the project.

Alicja Rogalska is a Polish-British interdisciplinary artist based between Berlin and London. Her research-based practice engages with social structures and the political dimensions of everyday life. Working within specific contexts, she develops situations, performances, videos, and installations in collaboration with others, exploring collective and emancipatory visions of the future. Her recent work has been presented at Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Matter of Art Biennale, Videobrasil, Jogja Biennale, and Urbane Künste Ruhr. A former fellow of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program, she is currently a PhD researcher in the Department of Art at Goldsmiths, University of London.
